So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth. ~ Bahá’u’lláh

Junior Youth Groups

The transition years from childhood to youth, between the ages of 12 and 15, finds young adolescents - referred to as "junior youth" - experiencing rapid physical, intellectual, and emotional changes. Their spiritual powers expand at the same time. During this short, critical time in their lives, ideas about the how one sees oneself, their community around, and their role in will likely shape the rest of their lives. Groups for young adolescents help direct their new abilities towards selfless service to humanity, and provide an environment of mutual support as young people strive to effect positive change in their communities and their own lives.

The Bahá’is of Oakland County offer a number of activities that may be of interest to you. To find a Bahá'i activity in your area, please complete the contact form.
